I am an Electrical Engineer working with Cimac FZCO, an Industrial Automation System Integrator in Dubai. Cimac was established in Middle East in 1996 with objective of providing lump Sum Turnkey capability for Control & Instrumentation covering all types of control and automation systems.
From a branch office of Cimac UK, Cimac FZCO has evolved into an independent company registered and incorporated in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, with sister companies in Kuwait, Qatar, Bangalore (India), Abu Dhabi & Representative offices in Oman and Bahrain. In 2009, Cimac shifted to our new global headquarters in TechnoPark. Built on a 100,000 ft2 plot, Cimac's state-of-the-art integrated headquarters includes a 10,000 ft2 smart two-storey office space and 25,000 ft2 manufacturing space.
Cimac provides provides turnkey Automation, Instrumentation & Electrical Solutions in the field of Oil & Gas, Water & Waste Water, District Cooling, Material Handling, Power Generation & Distribution, and Building Automation & Industrial Software Development. Our activities concentrate on medium to large scale projects throughout the region. A highly accessible client support and maintenance resources at short notice, which removes the costs arising out of client dependency on support from outside the region.
Cimac has seen an average of 40% year-on-year growth in its business in the last few years to reach USD 200 million turnover in 2008-'09. Cimac expects similar growth this year as well, despite the economic slowdown.
