Making PDF Ebooks

With Easy PDF Templates, you no longer need a specialized ebook compiler to create PDFs.

If you have tried to make PDF ebooks without using Adobe Acrobat then you have probably encountered some of the typical difficulties.

You usually end up with a poor quality PDF file that has:

  • No Bookmarks
  • No Web Hyperlinks
  • A Table of Contents that is not hyperlinked to any pages
  • No Security to prevent people copying your content!

Your new PDF file looks amateurish...even if your content was terrific!

A Small Piece of Plastic and Forty Thieves

Once upon a time, it was a credit to be the proud holder of a wad of credit cards. One could walk into any shopping mall and walk out with cart-loads of stuff - all it needed was to let the nice cashier swipe a small piece of plastic and I put my POWERFUL signature on the dotted line. Quite later, it became obvious that some numbers on the card were more POWERFUL than the card itself or my signature because apparently there were wizards on the other side of the globe, who could help themselves to my credit balance without disturbing me for the card or my signature (how very considerate!).

High rate of phishing calls to UAE Mobiles

India - Developing or Developed Country?

This is an email doing the rounds these days. It is purported to be said by the Indian former President, Dr. Abdul Kalam, but the subject deserves real attention.

Mr.Abdul Kalam Speaks:

I was in Hyderabad giving this lecture, when a 14-year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal in life is.

She replied: I want to live in a developed India.

For her, you and I will have to build this developed India. You must proclaim. India is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation.

Soap and Bubbles on the Wall Street

They say that the biggest movers in the Financial Market is 'greed' and 'fear'. Greed, that one wants more and more gains on one's market portfolio. Fear, that one would lose on capital or be too late and lose out on good opportunities.

It's a reminder that in a business based on confidence, when that confidence evaporates, so does the business.

Churning your ULIP Insurance Policy

For most middle class Indians, the following were sure milestones in one's life -
1. Get a job
2. Marry
3. Take out an insurance policy
The sequence would be 1-2-3, 1-3-2, or whatever combination as long as there was at least a '1', a '2' and a '3' in it. Till recent past, the term 'Life Insurance' in India was almost synonymous to 'Life Insurance Corporation of India', there was no second thoughts, and nor was there an apparent need.

Nuclear Agreement 1-2-3 between US and India

For some months now, we have been hearing of the Hyde Act, 1-2-3 Agreement and all sort of controversies in the media for and against the Indian Government signing some nuclear agreement between U.S. and India. India requires huge amounts of energy to be able to progress forward, there's no controversy on that. The question in the layman's mind is - will nuclear power be the holy grail to achieving this? Again, the scientific community against the agreement says that considering the projected power requirements till year 2040, the nuclear option can account only about 10% of that.
